Skatefest Olongapo brought the energy, the crowd, and the kind of community support you don’t forget. Held at Ayala Malls Harbor Point in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, the event turned the skatepark into a celebration of talent, grit, and hometown pride.

One of the biggest moments of the day was meeting 11-year-old skate phenom Elizabeth Amador. She may be young, but she skates with the confidence of someone twice her age. Elizabeth represented the Philippines in the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand and proudly brought home a silver medal. Watching her ride in person made it crystal clear why she’s already on the international stage. She’s fearless, focused, and absolutely passionate about the sport.
Scundo was proud to be one of the organizers supporting this event. For us, it wasn’t just about being part of the program. It was about showing up, backing our young athletes, and reminding the next generation that the skate community stands strong together.
What really made the day special was the atmosphere. Local skaters came out not just to ride, but to cheer each other on. Kids, adults, beginners, and seasoned riders all shared the same space. There were smiles, nervous first drops, clean runs, and loud applause every time someone landed something new.
That’s what skate culture is about:
Progress. Respect. Support.
Meeting Elizabeth reminded everyone why events like Skatefest matter. They give young athletes a platform. They connect brands and communities. And they prove that dreams can start on a small local ramp and still reach a global stage.
We’re excited to see what’s next for Elizabeth, and we’re grateful to be part of a community that keeps lifting each other up. If this event is any sign of what’s ahead, the future of Philippine skateboarding looks solid.
Stay tuned. More rides, more stories, more progression — and we’ll be there for it.
